Product Description
This hardware device is a premium commercial implementation of Prof. T. Takasu's renowned open-source project PocketSDR on GitHub. Manufactured in strict accordance with the original open-source schematics and reference designs, this device is the 4-channel version, fully equipped with four onboard MAX2771 RF front-ends.
It provides full constellation support, capturing almost all global civil satellite navigation systems and frequency bands simultaneously.
PocketSDR FE 4CH is an open-source GNSS SDR RF frontend device for PocketSDR. The device consists of 4-channel Maxim MAX2771 GNSS RF front-end ICs (integrating LNA, mixer, filter, ADC, and frequency synthesizer) and a Cypress EZ-USB FX3 USB 3.0 controller to interface directly with host PCs. All RF channels can be flexibly configured for the GNSS L1 band (1525 - 1610 MHz) or GNSS L2/L5/L6 bands (1160 - 1290 MHz). The frequency of the onboard reference oscillator (TCXO) is 24.000 MHz, and the ADC sampling rate can be configured up to 48 Msps.
